Hello!

Hi Everyone,

First of all, thanks for taking interest in our little tool! And sorry for the lack of updates on our part!

So continuing from our last devlog, we are just about ready to release the standalone version of Character Creator 2D. And here are more details on that.

Release Date

Character Creator 2D will be released on mid December this year! yay! 

It's still kinda vague, huh? I mean, it's better than nothing, right? right? 😂

Pricing & Add-Ons

Similar to the Unity version, Character Creator 2D will have separate themed add-on packs. Currently we have three packs, with more to come!

Hi,

Is there a reason for increased stand alone pricing when compared to unity asset store ones? Was just curious. Thanks!

Hi, good question!

There are two major reasons for the different prices:

1. There are additional works need to be done for the standalone release. The tool was originally designed for Unity Editor.

2. To make up for tax withholding rate.
